Harlem Shake

R.I.P. Gangnam Style. There’s this dance that has spread to the world like a virus and it just started around early this month.

And here’s a video of what it seems is the beginning of something big.

I would love to dance like that. I should try it you know, just to check whether my body has the retarded dance moves that has longed to get out.

And almost everyone is infected. LOL.

Come to think of it, this is like Mr. Bean’s Dance. But the advanced version though. Hahaa.

Happy Sunday, people.

P.S I might Do The Harlem Shake later in the shower.

I mentioned before about a project that my associates and I are working on. We are still learning but are hoping to get some visitors first. Those visitors can be like the beta-tester or something. Heehe. Not much posts yet but we will surely double or triple the amount of entries that we post each time.

In the process:

A long time ago, this is what visitors see when they log in to UrangKita.com.

Website online!:

This was our header. And this is when we, newbies started posting stuff.

And now, presenting… UrangKita.com‘s fresh look with an awesome header.
UrangKitacomfreshlook UrangKita.com

Currently, we are posting funny stuff that are related to Sabah. We also put other categories as well.

But I think the main point is that we write our posts in mixed language and mainly in Sabahan slang.

Do give us a visit, ya. We’ll appreciate it so so much. And we also have an FB page.

Happy Wednesday, all!

Neil Armstrong

NeilArmstrong Neil Armstrong

Rest in piece to the man I was named after and also the first man to walk on the moon.

On August 25, 2012, Armstrong died in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 82 due to complications from blocked coronary arteries.

Frankly, I don’t know much about him… I probably know more about Lance Armstrong than him. Even Lance recently had problems with his titles being withdrawn.

Whatever it is, it’s really sad that Neil Armstrong had passed away. Not just to me, but to everyone… because we all know what he accomplished, the whole world knows (although there still exists speculation about it). It’s a great loss, a person who made history with his leap. Or in his own words:

“That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”

Again, R.I.P. Neil Armstrong.

Christian Bale visits Aurora Shooting victims

Most of us have probably heard about the shooting at Aurora and also know that it happened during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises. 70 people were injured and unfortunately, 12 passed away.

One guy managed to put a smile on some of the injured victims’ faces though. The Batman himself.

ChristianBalevisitsAuroraShootingvictims10 Christian Bale visits Aurora Shooting victims

Christian Bale visited one of the hospitals that is treating the injured victims and also went there in low profile, without the media and all. Awesome, right?

Christian Bale – Words cannot express the horror that I feel. I cannot begin to truly understand the pain and grief of the victims and their loved ones, but my heart goes out to them.

Rest in peace and wish a speedy recovery on the treated victims.

P.S Also, we should continue praying for the victims of the tanker explosion in Labuan which 1 was found dead and another 4 still missing. 24 returned to shore safely.

Miss Earth Sabah 2012 Finalists

By now, most of you, Sabahans have probably heard about, seen, or for the guys, dropped your jaws when you saw the 12 beauties that were selected to compete against each other to be the voice of Sabah in making the world a better place. And in this case, to make the world greener and healthier.

Personally, I prefer to see the girls… or should I say, ladies as not competing but working with each other and I think all of them are already winners. They were chosen for specific reasons, right? And each of them, I’m sure, have their own strongest point which can compliment the other finalists. Wouldn’t it be great if there is not just one representative of Sabah’s mother nature but a whole 12 of them? And they would travel around Sabah and why not the world too and constantly promoting healthy activities and giving awesome speeches that can be the trigger for people to act for the environment.

They would be the Power Rangers of Sabah. Except that they are two times more in numbers, and instead of killing monsters and destroying buildings, they’ll protect the environment. They also wouldn’t wear black, pink, red, or yellow, but only green outfits. And I would call them The Green Dozen. Wakakaa.

Well, that’s just what I think. And be that silly thought as it may, the competition still needs a winner, yes? So, here are them babes… oops, sorry. Typo. I mean, here are the Miss Earth Sabah 2012 finalists.

I should win Miss Earth Sabah 2012 because I have a dream. Throughout my life I have been involved in many events and campaigns to save our environment and mother nature. However, the impact was limited. And if I continue doing what I did the impact would be the same. But, if I won this title I would inspire many people out there especially our young generations. Doing the same things with this title, will have a very big impact. Because now it is not only my dream but all of us.

I should win Miss Earth Sabah 2012 because I am dedicated in achieving my goals and not the type of person who takes leadership and responsibilities lightly especially when it comes in benefiting all of us. Hence, I’m willing to assist and to be the ‘mobilizer’ in revamping the current condition of the environment that Sabah is facing today.

I should win Miss Earth Sabah 2012 because I would want to be a role model to the society to heal our dying world. Firstly, to help promote the conservation of our beautiful forest and encourage our present government to plant more trees & greenery in our city. Secondly, work together with the authorities in curbing the emitting of gasses that is harmful to the environment. Thirdly, to propose that ‘Everyday is a NO Plastic Bag day’ this way we could lessen the pollution rate, be it land, water or air. This is because plastic bags are known to be the one of the biggest contribution to pollution in our state. It could be tangible or non-tangible but both brings negativity to us.

I should win Miss Earth Sabah because I am willing to help in whatever way to preserve our polluted environment and to be a role model on this because I strongly believe every little effort from everyone can contribute hugely towards saving our mother earth from being destroyed. I hope by carrying this Miss Earth Sabah title on my shoulder, I can have a platform to carry out events or activities which can educate the public on the importance of protecting our planet.

As you can see, not only will you be able to zumba with the 2012 finalists, but also with the 2010 and 2011 finalists of Miss Earth Sabah. And of course, including special appearances by May Salitah (Miss Earth Sabah 2010) and Olivia Vun (Miss Earth Sabah 2011).

2) NO PLASTIC BAG Challenge
Officially announced on @MissEarthSabah, they will hold a No Plastic Bag Challenge among the finalists at Giant Hypermarket City Mall, on the 11th of June, starting at 5pm.

I have no clue whatsoever of what kind of challenge is such but it usually means buying stuff without the use of plastic bags. I was also thinking that maybe it’s a challenge of who can carry the most groceries without the use of bags. That would be a really fun event, right? Jaz kidin.

That’s it for now. I’m looking forward to seeing pictures of the zumba party. Not that I wanna see them, but, you know, nevermind… wakakaa.

Oya, do share which of these contestants are your fav, ya.

And as usual, have a great Tuesday, everyone!

Project Glass

One day… we’ll all be walking around with glasses. But my main question is, how are the people who are already wearing normal glasses going to wear them. LOL. Well, I’m sure they, the creators can handle that.

I really hope I have a chance to wear such technology in the not too distant future.

Just think of all the cool ways we can interact with each other.

LOL why do I sound so formal.

Happy Friday all! (in half an hour icon razz Project Glass )

Fcuk Lynas

I don’t usually blog about the news but when I do, it’s a freaking important one!

By now I’m sure the whole country have an idea of what Lynas Corporation’s refinery is capable of. And of course, I too do not agree with their establishment here in Malaysia.

And if there’s a summary of what Lynas is doing, this might be the best one:

LYNAS 01 Fcuk Lynas

LYNAS 02 1 Fcuk Lynas

LYNAS 02 2 Fcuk Lynas

LYNAS 03 1 Fcuk Lynas

LYNAS 03 2 Fcuk Lynas

On the other hand, but still the same body hahaa, we have Namewee here showing his own way to protest the project.

Even though the message is good intended  and direct but it’s unfair to the Australians as a whole. I saw one clip of an Australian who disagrees with the said project and I’m sure there are more people alike. Such clips like the one Namewee makes is insulting to their country… especially when he makes fun of their accent and includes clips of kangaroos doing the SEXY TIME, as how Borat says it.

Is the song’s message too much? Only you yourself has the judgement.

Catchy tune though.

“Todai is a very good dai, very good dai, very good dai to dai.”

Owh by the way, what do you think about this issue? Uisheh, formal ba.

Regarding my Day 12 post…

Still not convinced that it’s huge?
2012 01 12180314 My name is Tokek
Just see how big is the box my colleague put the gecko in and compare it with the picture of the said gecko. Besar kans?
(Sorry, buddy. Had to cover your face or the ‘tokek’ hunters will come and get ya hahaa.)

Convinced much? Hehee.

Whatever it is, I’m still sceptical on whether or not there is a price on those ‘tokek’ heads. Searching online and I found this interesting price list.
hargacicaktokek9 My name is Tokek
My observation from this picture is either the one who quoted it always skipped math class when he was in secondary school or he’s a genius and he formulated his own formula in buying / selling them geckos. Hahaa jaz kidin. No offense or what la actually but I’m really curious as to how he managed to make this list.

Or maybe there’s a secret ‘tokek’ community calculating all this. The Toucake Club… you know, the on-purpose-misspelling just to confuse the public because this club is exclusive. Exclusive to those having more than 5 geckos or at least having just one really fat ‘tokek’.

Siok dengar sia merepek kans? Baru ko taw. Sepa suru ko baca. LOL.

Anyways, because I actually saw how big a gecko aka ‘tokek’ can grow up to, this picture is convincing.

Boy: I can’t believe this! I’m going to be rich! First I’ll buy my own Vios, then get a haircut… then this… that.
10 seconds after this picture was taken… Cameraman snatch gecko from boy.

Let’s face it, money makes people do bad things. Now if ‘tokek’ = money, then trouble is surely lurking somewhere. I’ve heard news of people fighting over these innocent colourful creatures.

Also, there’s a video here to help you gain some kind of acknowledgement of this once-hunted / still hunted being.

Now that’s what I call an obese ‘tokek’ wakakaa.

But no matter what, there is still one famous picture that I don’t think I’ll ever confirm its authenticity. Unless!.. the freaking gecko is right in front of me! Hahaa. Here’s what I’m talking about.

I don’t believe this is the real thing. All I can say is that it’s Photoshopped damn fine.

Breasts equals immortality

I just have to stare this, I mean, share this… it’s just too hilarious to not post about it.

breast Breasts equals immortality

So, the stare… it says that it is equivalent to 30 minutes at the gym. How does it work? I mean, one breast equals 30 mins? Wakakaa.

I do not believe this numbers at all… how in the world can they come up with such results. Those ‘lab rats’ sure had a good time staring though heehe. And what does “lelaki tulen” means? Very strong, or very straight or something? This is just too funny.

However, for the fun of it, let’s just assume that all of this is statistically correct. That means if I OGLE at women’s breasts for a whole day (or night…heehe) for a few weeks or months, then that would make me have tons of extra life years.

… that would make me immortal.

photo01 Breasts equals immortality

So, ladies, next time someone stares at you and he’s looking just a bit under your face, just be nice to him and give him a few extra years to live… LOL. Or you can just take a few years out of him by slapping him hard… wakakaaka.
